MISSION
The mission of D.L.H Low-Income Housing, Inc. (DLH) is to provide for the housing needs of under-privileged people.
To accomplish this objective, DLH will participate in as many areas of the low-income housing industry as practicable to provide continuity and longevity to this welfare benefit.
Based on the internal evaluation of services, DLH has elected to focus its activities by participating in affordable housing as a limited partner through Bargain Sales and Special Allocation Programs.
These strategies help aging for-profit limited partners exit the projects and allow DLH to enter the projects to maintain a stable partnership owner base. The admission of DLH as a limited partner helps to maintain the long-term participation of the partnership in affordable housing, which thereby facilitates preservation of affordable housing for low-income tenants.

The methods utilized by DLH will include: direct receipt of project interests through gifting strategies; capital contributions to select projects for improvements and compliance; and any other purpose deemed by the board to be worthwhile and of benefit to under-privileged people.
